Beach and bush walks
Cable Beach offers 22km of white sands on which to stroll. Around Broome, and beyond, bushwalking is a relaxed and enjoyable way to learn about the land.
The vegetation and wildlife are diverse. Broome’s range of well marked, self guided walks wander through three very special vegetation eco-systems – the pindan, vine thicket and sand dune systems.
Expect to see huge diversity with over 200 species of plants and up to 80 bird species and 47 reptiles, as well as mammals such as wallabies, flying fox, possum, bats and echidnas.
